Scout Branding calls on Outpost to edit and color grade 5 spots for America’s First Federal Credit Union.
Footage was shot on the Cannon 5D Mark II in downtown Birmingham.
Outpost teams once again with Aharon Rabinowitz and Red Giant Software to create a new ad for
Red Giant’s latest product, Holomatrix.
Rabinowitz directed the shoot from his office in New York, via Skype with the team at Orion Media,
the largest green screen studio in the southern hemisphere. Outpost created visual elements, effects,
and sound design for the trailer-like commercial.
Outpost Pictures picks up two awards at the 2009-2010 AAF – Birmingham ADDY® Awards.
The Gold Addy was awarded to Outpost for Editing/Sound Design of High Noon Film’s, “Website Intro”.
The Silver Addy was received for Cinema Advertising of the “Dale Brown – Trailer”.
The Forte Marketing Group calls on Chris Tomberlin for motion tracking and color grading in a spot
highlighting the good works of the Jimmie Hale Mission. JHM fights homelessness and empowers
people to transform their lives.
Outpost teams with High Noon Film, Emory University and Merck & Co. to shoot an educational film
about the importance of receiving the Gardasil vaccine to prevent cervical cancer.
Fitzmartin calls on Outpost to edit, grade, and create 3D graphics for a TV campaign for Birmingham-Southern
College. The footage was shot on the Red One Digital Cinema and the graphics were created in Cinema 4D.
Outpost doubles its storage capabilities in Birmingham and Atlanta for a combined total of 36TB. Fibre
volumes now hold up to 24 terabytes in Birmingham and 12 terabytes in Atlanta for projects that are in
offline and online stages.
Outpost completes DVD programming in NTSC and PAL for the Universal Postal Union in Switzerland.
The DVD’s include subtitles in Arabic, English, French, Mandarin (Chinese), Portuguese, Russian,
and Spanish.
Jim Powell joins the Outpost team as a contract freelancer to provide graphics and editing support.
Jim brings 25+ years experience in broadcast design, including 2D and 3D animation.
Editing begins on Man in the Glass: The Dale Brown Story in partnership with EyeLine Films. This
feature length documentary project will be released early in 2010.
